Hi,

i'm trying to get a laptop back to life.
It was badly corroded but, to my surprise booted, so i took it apart and gave it a clean.
After cleaning and drying it didn't work anymore.
The corresponding beepcode doesn't give me a hint.
I tried resoldering the SMD-ICs on the main pcb because some pins looked like they were lose, but to no avail.
Nothing changed.

I also got a bios update disk, but the files on it (STORMX05.1FX) don't have a size corresponding to a power of 2, so i don't even know how to burn them on the bios ic.

Someone having any ideas how to get a bit further?
I checked powerrails and clocks, everything seems to be there and at least the BIOS gets started.
