Finally i fode some time to finish my 486 Multimedia PC.
All that is left to do is to connect the Frontpanel connectors to the mainboard and fire the whole thing up (hope for the best) for the first time since ages 😀

I found even some online manual available (for a different revision of this board) on stason.org, but unfortunately it isn't very clear about the correct pinout and polarity ... and I don't want to fry the display by accident.

I've made some pictures of the mainboard - maybe anyone can help me with the correct pinoput?

Building my own PCs since 1991 - for my retro builds it's "no CF-disks, no Floppy emulators, no modern cases etc.", only the real and authentic stuff whenever possible.

This info seems clear enough

speaker 1-4
7-17 turbo switch
8-18 turbo led
9-19 reset switch
10-20 hdd-led
11-15 pwr-led & keylock (which is 11-13 pwr led (green & white), 14-15 keylock )
1 . . . . . . . . . . 10
11 . . . . . . . . . . 20

edit: seems J6 is also marked as hdd-led.
and considering this board does not have IDE controller onboard... i'd leave it off and connect it to the multi-io controller IDE-led connection.
I wouldn't be surprised if J6 was used to connect the ide led on the ide-card to the mainboard, and then you can connect the led to the mainboard.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Thank you, besides it shows no polarity, this manual should help a lot.
But the "Turbo Switch" of the case comes with three cables (guess because of the speed display) - what to do with the third cable? Shall I simply ignore it?

Yes, the turbo switch has one contact open, and one contact closed, and when you switch it, it becomes one contact closed and one contact open.
