I bought for my socket 3 mainboard some RAM. I look on the manual before and it says i need FPM RAM 72pin.
Today i got the RAM but they dont fit in the ram socket. The cutout on one side is not high engough.
Anyone know why? is it for another socket?

Only one side is supposed to have a high cutout. This is used to ensure you don't insert the modules the wrong way. Did you try inserting the module 180° turned?
