i like to update my bios to the latest beta bios.
Used AWDFlash 8.99 with the bios version from Phils page i got any time the message that the new bios file not match the board ???
Its a REV2.0 with 401A0-0304, Award Bios v4.50G
Tryed all 3 bins but no luck..

Dos 6.22: Asus VL/I-486SV2GX4 Rev 2.0 1Mb L2 - A5x86 X5 P75 - 64MB - AHA-2842A VLB - ET4000W32P VLB - CT2230 - MPU-401AT with YucatanFX / Roland CM64
Win98SE: Asus XG DLS 1x SL4XY - SG Voodoo 5 6000 PCI - 2GB RAM ECC- Audigy 2 ZS - MX300

Lol, this board does not have a flash memory.
Get a winbond W27E512 chip and a programmer. You could overwrite the existing BIOS, but you would have to erase it with UV light first.

i see.. dont have any equipment for writing a new bios. Can someone help me out?
