Ive been following the forum for some time, found some really usefull info in here.
However, now im in need of some help.
Ive deceided to rebuild my first PC as a retro machine, a little project for my son and me. I have a SB live CT4760. Ive recently aquired a Front panel Drive IR with no cables. The seller said it works. As I understand, a regular hdd cable can be used to connect it with the sound card but I get no response from the front panel. The cable is good, 40 holes, tested id on a hdd, the sound card itself works with no issues.
The drive gets power from the PSU, optical out has light but the rest, volume control, headphone, input... nothing.

Anyone had similar issues? Any help is appreciated.
