Acer VI15G locks up when attempted to be rebooted with CTRL-ALT-DEL

I just got a Acer VI15G, it seems to post but when i try to reboot it using CTRL-ALT-DEL, it just hard locks, is it fixable, i tried everything, disabling cache, removing the l2 cache, tried different SIMM modules, tried different BIOSes, no dice.

R5 5600X, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060 TI, Win10
P3 933, 512 MB RAM, nVidia Geforce 2 MX 400, Audigy 2 ZS, Win98
P133, 32 MB RAM, S3 Trio64v+, ESS ES688FC, Win95
486DX2 66, 32 MB RAM, Cirrus 5428, Aztech 2316, DOS-3.11

i swapped to a DX-33 and it seems to reboot when i CTRL-ALT-DEL, so i guess that DX2-66 i got is a bit faulty

If it is a standard DX2 then jumpers are same as DX, if it is a SL version DX2 they are not the same. Post a pic of the DX2 please.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor.

i accidentally inserted that DX2 in wrong and fried it in a different mobo when i wanted to test to see if it exhibited the same behavior there. at least the mobo survived, so i guess it's game over for that intel DX2 66
