Luckily this card was 5 dollars, so I dont mind and I have a Monster voodoo 2 as backup but this 12 meg card registers as 4 megs. Anything to look for? Worth trying to fix?
How do you know it registers as 4 MB?
What is the available FBI memory size and what is the TMU memory size? A screenshot would help. 😀

Ah Ill have to take some later. I was testing it in a p2 yesterday and the info said its 4 megs.
I also had this SLI'd with an 8 meg card and I was getting 4 megs and terrible benchmarks. This card alone gave 800 3d mark score
The diamond Monster 2 was showing as 8 megs when used by itseld.
Ill wait until tonight and take some pics.

Good call out, I didnt even see that! I was more looking at the pins that look like goop on them making them touch eachother.
Stupid me left the card at work. I was going to mess wit it there but I forgot to bring it home. That will have to wait
Im glad i found this post again to update. Im such a noob. I didnt know that an 8 meg card shows as 4 meg buffer memory and 4 meg texture memory. Derp. Both the 12 and the 8 meg cards work fine.
Learning as I go. I never dealt with voodoo 2 cards back in the day.
The 12 meg card found a permanent home in my Pentium 1 233 MMX build. It seems to work great . It even got better benchmark scores that the voodoo 3 cards i tried first.
