Hello people.
I just got a motherboard Lucky Star 5I-VX2B and I have some video cards problems. I tried 3 diferent video cards.
Trident ISA - no startup, just the cpu fan is spinning, but no error beeps and no video output.
Alicat PCI - no startup, just the cpu fan is spinning, but no error beeps and no video output.
CirrusLogic PCI - startup, with boot beep and all post checks, but video output is purple and the display adapter has no IRQ.
In bios I loaded default settings.
Can anyone please help me with ideas where could be the problem?

Are the Trident and Alicat confirmed working on another motherboard? Have you tried cleaning the connectors, pushing down the socketed chips (if any)?

On the CL card there seems to be a problem with the green signal. Carefully check it for any missing or damaged parts. Maybe upload some close-up pics of it (back/front) so we can have a look.
Can't say much about the no IRQ issue, but from what I remember not all video cards get assigned / require an IRQ.

Many thanks for the reply.
All cards are working in other systems.
You gave me the ideea to check connectors and sockets and it seems that the case was keeping the cards from inserting full in the sockets.
I tried all pci slots and wigled a bit the cards and now remained at the CirusLogic that works with no problems, even without IRQ.
Thank you again for the help.
