Check this Sharp PC-FJ100V laptop:

https://jp.sharp/support/mebius/spec/pc_fj100v.html

It's a 1999/12 model. 800 x 600 and quite small (12.1"), 440MX chipset, ATI Mobility-M PCI graphics.

It says Sound Blaster PRO compatible sound, and it can play music without booting. Does that mean it can be used in DOS? How will it perform?

Can it be used as a DOS gaming laptop?

Welcome.

It's unfortunately hard to tell. Some laptops have SB Pro compatible audio chips onboard, but those chips only have Windows drivers. Ideally you would find out what kind of chip it is, but I can see how few search results there are. I think the odds are good, but...

Suggest editing your title to include "Sharp PC-FJ100V" as it may attract the attention of someone who knows the hardware.
