I'm going to assemble the fastest possible Windows 98SE computer with a compatible graphics and sound card and I have a question for you. Will Windows 98 work with Asus P8H67-M EVO/PRO Socket 1155? This motherboard has ATA 133 and PCI slots, so I think there's a chance.

Maybe ! I do not think any newer micro board is a good place to start, specially with just one PCI slot, if it were full sized like ASUS P8H67 it would be so much easier....
You cannot exceed 768MB ram w/o mods and issues. The onboard NIC, Sound and USB3 will probably never work, might get the H67 USB2 to work.. maybe.
ATA by a newer Marvell chip, another possible stumbling block. IMHO bad choice for Win98. A lot of full sized have 3 pci slots so easier to replace onboard things Win98 does not support... again just my opinion.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
