Has anyone experienced using the new Logitech 3D joystick on Windows XP?

I'm asking before buying this version (pictured below, box says year 2022), because it only lists "win7, win8" under the requirements.

I think the older versions of the same USB joystick (blue, green or red boxes) listed WinXP or even Win98, but wanted to confirm if someone has tried the 2022 version on XP (black box with bluish x-ray of half the joystick.

I googled about that few weeks back and found someone online saying the "new" version is identical hardware wise to the old version, only the box has changed. Also if you go to Logitech driver download page you'll find while the OS drop down list only has Windows 7/8/10, the OS support listed for the actual driver also lists WinXP.

If you are willing to wait x amount of time I'll test it myself after I find this on a sale as I intend to get one myself. But if you bite the bullet before me do let me know how it goes.
