ram

edit: too dark, I'll replace them soon.

You got yourself some real unicorns there.
9NS???
, must be early stuff before pc100 was standardized.

My PCCHIPS m571 Cyrix with an 83mhz fsb had a 9NS 32mb dimm, it was from 1997 and was not labeled pc100.

My guess is 9NS would give you clk3 but who knows

The 16mb sdram I have is 12ns and is barely usable on anything

If you have any test requests just drop them, I don't mind.

The only thing I can think of that would use 16Mb of PC100 is an industrial computer.

Like 128 and 256 DDR2 or DDr3.
Only example I know is exactly industrial machines that need a bare minimum.

I found some 256MB DDR2 sticks a while back and bought them for use with Windows 9x.

A couple of months after I asked why the hell you bought those, I got cursed with some in a bundle 🤣

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

In order to toy with 16MB ram, I was thinking to go with some P-III motherboard with all the parameters user-defined in BIOS.
Paired with a Celeron it should be enough to test anything.

Test-wise, what do I test with 16MB? The usual Phil pack?
