Could be that you are using too new of a flash utility to flash the BIOS... or that you need to update to a newer BIOS than the one you have that updates the Award BIOS version and the one you are trying to flash to doesn't have that functionality.

Found another flasher, which was special for this board.

I uploaded it to vogonsdrivers when someone need it too.

Does anybody know if this motherboard Gigabyte GA-486IM have power saving feature?

When i doing nothing for few minutes the monitor goes black..
Only getting out of sleep when pressing a keyboard key.

EDIT:

It was the green power function was enabled in bios..
Disabled it. Was more annoying then helpfull.
