1. I'm looking for an older x-blade PC case. It's been difficult finding one. Was wondering if anyone knows a good place to hunt one of these down.

2. I'm running Windows XP, the.motherboard I'm.using is an Asus a88x board with an a6-6420k fm2 cpu.
I'd like to run a floppy drive but being that this board is only sata, would a Ide to sata adapter work for this? Allowing for driver install's during the Windows XP installation?
And future use after the os install?
( I d realize I could slip stream, but I'm curious if this would work from a hardware perspective?)

The only floppy drive that board will support is a USB floppy drive. so no... a ide-sata adapter will not work.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Sorry I did not answer that part because I do not know that boards bios, it depends on if the bios supports booting from removeable and if supports a USB2 device during boot,
I answered "( I d realize I could slip stream, but I'm curious if this would work from a hardware perspective?)" which is no.

Is a floptical or LS-120 even supported with an IDE to SATA adapter ?

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.
