Hi.
I'm planning to mount socket for BOOTROM.
Looks like mine card is also missing resistor R10.
Can somebody check and tell me its value ?
Thanks !

It's probably a pull up or pull down resistor.
Note that it is fed from elsewhere, (probably the 3com ASIC), so I'd be tempted to leave it empty, and give it a test. If the card didn't work properly I'd fit a 10k resistor.

"Give it a test" would mean fitting an EPROM, programming the card with the right size and then seeing if the EPROM appears in the memory map. (Sorry I can't remember which DOS utility to use to do that last step).

According to https://www.vogonswiki.com/images/4/45/3Com_3c509.jpg R10 is not required for the Bootrom.
Layout is slighly different from your card, but I dont believe they changed the component numbering.

To me it looks like R4 would be the equivalent to R10 in TO´s card.
Both are located at pin1 of the (E)EPROM.
