I recently acquired a Fujitsu LifeBook E-5140 laptop which has a hardware password entry system called the LifeBook Security Panel which requires a code to be entered on the front of the laptop to boot the system. I am unable to find any documentation about how to reset the code and I can't even get into BIOS. I've tried removing the main battery, standby battery, and BIOS battery, but the security code didn't get wiped.

Does anyone have any experience with these laptops?

This method helped me with several Fujitsu Laptops with unknown BIOS passwords set.
You will need Python installed on an additional machine to run the scripts .

Thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately with this LifeBook Security Panel the motherboard and screen don't even seem to receive power until the passcode is entered correctly. There's nothing for me to crack because the computer isn't even on except for the security panel and battery status LCD.
