At this point I think I am basically dead in the water on this project.

Without the cord this is nothing more than a curious brick.

If anyone can help mapping the pinout of the cord, that would open up some possibilities.

If anyone has a cord, that would be even better,

I kind of expect that I am going to end up making a cord.

Baby steps.

AS you can probably (or not?) know is arrived my 420 WHIT Cable, we can make a pinout map

sweet!

I am assuming the serial and audio just go direct to pins on the db62

the monitor I think probably passes some signals from one connector to the other but both sets of sync and color singals go back to the card for the small relays to switch I think

Looking forward to the pinout thank you very much!

can you lay the cable out flat so we can see where the wures connect between connectors?

what does the warning say?

Excellent!

Now just need a diagram.

Does anyone here have a lot of experience making cables like this?I can do it, but seems like there are a few people out there that need them and maybe someone here can make it nicer than I

Does anyone have and resevations that there might be different pinouts between the various orangepc cards? Or safe bet they are the same?

I got the DB62 in the mail today. Ready to start constructing a cable! 😀

Some will be ground pins, they'll be zero ohms to ground... there we go, done my share 🤣

It's a tough one, my google fu is like 3rd dan, but all I see is 5 other people looking for the pinout.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

Ugh, may have to do this the hard way.

Look up the IO chip and find pinout, continuity check to the connector, then check those relays for their singals for the vga switching, check sound card, find pins, not going to be easy.

Their archived website was not any help except: all OrangePC 400 and 500 series shared same connector and cabling from their old data.....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
