Strange didn't have this on my win98 system previously but it popped up after the following:

Replaced the IDE hd with a sata ssd with startech ide/sata adapter.
Replaced the voodoo 3 with a ATI Radeon 7200.
No other components changed

Reinstalled win98 and everything seems to be accounted for drivers wise except for the error message.
Checked bios and all unused ports disabled. Tried switching back/forth on pnp os toggle. Could it be
the startech adapter? All is running fine It's not hurting anything up to this point just annoying.

its not the adapter, sata-pata adapters are invisible to the system.
You are missing a driver for something on or plugged into motherboard. Maybe radeon has two devices (capture? audio?)
What is listed under Location? Open details and search for ID.

Figured the Radeon drivers would cover everything, perhaps not. I'll look into the ID searches later tonight.
