Am looking for a new or newer pair of powered computer speakers but must have a headphone jack and do not need bluetooth.
Was looking at Presonus Eris 3.5 which seem to have decent reviews, would like them or something similar with a cover though.
These be used with Audigy 2 on a XP build mostly for gaming. Would prefer to keep price down to $100 or less. Any ideas ?
Sorry thought this was asked before but could not find the topic...

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Creative Labs GigaWorks maybe? I don't have a set myself, but they do look rather slick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK8-qbacWjc

Soundbars are desperately trendy, or were, so there's lots of those out there. Some probably have some good electronics and speakers, maybe bluetooth, and stand to be a bit cheap in the right places. Sometimes the soundbar is a silly format, and anachronistic for a retro machine, but do remember they exist 😀 I've been given one, with some small shelf brackets it can be put in the kitchen window recess just nicely.
