He all, just got this motherboard and it won't POST. It came with a DX4-120 processor and no RAM or BIOS battery. It doesn't appear to be physically damaged. No beeps coming from the speaker.

What can I try besides changing the CPU and RAM? The PSU works for sure.

Are you sure you have FPM memory, and not EDO?

I would also reflash the BIOS chip if you have another programmer or compatible mainboard, just to be sure.
Take BIOS #401A0-0306 from https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/asus-pvi-486sp3#bios (not the beta one)

And just one tip if at some point you can't get the sound to work, particularly on an ESS Solo-1 chip: BIOS > Chipset Features Setup > Onboard IDE Prefetch Buf > disable.
