Hello everyone, does anybody now how to Install win NT 4.0 on the Alpha PC, the setup starting, but it doesn't find the hard Drive
Harddisk 4 GB
Ram 128 MB Edo
500 MHz CPU from Alpha (Socket 499)
Hmm is it like this: got a Highscreen ALPHA 5000
Does the hard driver controller (probably a scsi) see the hard drive ?

What exactly is the machine? There were a bunch of different computers with an Alpha EV5 CPU so it's kind of like saying "windows setup can't find the hard disk on my Pentium 3 computer"
If the computer has AlphaBIOS there is an option in there to partition the hard disk and launch windows setup. It's possible windows may not have a driver for whatever disk controller you're using/is on the motherboard in which case you'll need to find an appropriate driver and supply it to windows when it prompts
