Here are some of the graphic cards' drivers for Windows 3.1/3.11 and Windows NT 3.51.

The drivers for Windows NT 3.1 are harder to find.

I have uploaded them as individual files, since these files are more specific in use, and one may not need to download everything in one bulk.

I still have zipped them all up for archival purposes. I'll post the link to the full archive once Megaupload is ready with the file.

This is an on-going project. All contributions of files are welcome and I'll keep updating as I get more files.

"Orchid Technology Prodesigner II Series drivers.zip"

it looks like it is missing files. when you go to install the drivers for windows it gives an error saying "win3xdrv.exe" is missing and i cant get any further.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

luckybob, I'll soon let you know if I can find alternative driver for this. Thanks for letting me know. I'll replace the file as soon as I can get another working one.

Yes, please do so. Since Voodoos are for higher OSs - (Win9x), we need to open a separate thread for it. For now, falconfly.de has the complete reference drivers for the Voodoos. But it never hurts to download them and re-upload them for permanent archiving purposes. We should also download all these for our own archiving, and for backup - don't know how long a website will hold all uploads.

And more importantly, we need the custom CDs that were distributed with the original packaging. I mean all the custom Diamond Multimedia CDs, Canopus 3D CDs, Orchid CDs, 3D Blaster CDs, Hercules CD's, and also the Voodoo RUSH series' custom CDs. etc. That would be a unique collection when it comes to 3Dfx archives! (Falconfly.de already has almost all reference drivers.)

Okie Dokie, I 7z'd em up, and I'll upload them to megaupload or something tomorrow. The voodoo3000 one is quite large so I'll do that one last. My upload bandwidth is pretty low and it will take awhile, so I'll post links when they are done.

Are 3dfx drivers needed for Windows 3.1? What Glide games would even run?

i am really excited about those driver collections projects! I just recently managed to trace original disk drivers for my ATI vga wonder XL. http://ibm-pc.org/manuals/other/ati/vgawonder/vgawonder.htm

Might be a good addition to that list ? They have not only windows drivers but also all the utilities for dos and such, and 3 different version to boot!

OK then, I PM'd you the links, I guess a couple should be for various OS's, been so long since I have used them, I don't really remember. I can make scans of the creative and diamond monster discs too. I don't know where the voodoo ones are stashed at the moment, I made images of them long time ago.

also, images are in bin/cue format.

The TNT/TNT2 drivers for the most part work fine, although you might experience occasional graphical glitches and text input problems (tested with a Diamond Viper V770 Ultra and MSI TNT2 M64). I don't think NVIDIA ever intended for it to be used for production release purposes. Oh and just for the record it doesn't work with anything newer - so if you have a GeForce 256 and up you will have to live with the (patched) unaccelerated SVGA driver.

Yes, the TNT driver was intended to be used with TNT cards and not TNT2, but it is still compatible with TNT2.

Just to add in a note about the TNT/TNT2 driver: - I'm using Creative's TNT2 Ultra AGP 32MB with the TNT driver in WFWG3.11. So far everything is fine.
