Was wondering if there is a Thread that is capturing a list of "modern retro games". I don't mean remakes/remasters (although it might include them), but other games like DUSK/Graven/Thimbleweed etc.
For a while there was so few of them but now the numbers are creeping up and I thought it would be worthwhile if such a thread exists.
IMO it should only include:
* new games made with retro style/theme/art/etc
* remakes/remasters of actual retro games (could be it's own thread perhaps)
Whether a game like Return to Monkey Island should be included (as it is neither of the above) due to it's *connection* to retro games is unclear.
I would NOT include mods, e.g. DOOM wads which are continually being released, *unless* they are especially significant and sold through a major outlet, e.g. Sigil.
