Being these things house a 6th gen lga 1151 mobo, can it take a celeron? Just as a test, as I have 1 here, I plan to put a xeon if I actually wind up buying 1.

To clarify I may buy a bare bones unit with no cpu. It'll take other common 6th gen core series cpus. But it's not a typical consumer chipset. It's 1151, but a c204?? chipset maybe. Will take e3 v5 xeons. I just always liked hp sff units. I have 1 here, has a shitty am3 mobo, box equates to a z200/210/220 series. I'm thinking of painting it orange.
Nope c236 chipset.
HP Z240 SFF is low profile PC, and will only accept skylake (gen 6) pentium dual core, i3, i5 and i7. E3-series V6 xeons only. Up to DDR4-2400 Unbuffered ram modules for pentium, i3, i5 or i7. and unbuffered ECC if using i3 or Xeon.

So...it won't take a celeron?
Is it the c236 chipset?
I don't know about v6s. I know they take v5s.
I know they do work with Pentium dual core. My workstation came with one.
