So after 8 years of working away on repairing my Dauphin Orasis (which is a long story for another day). I managed to get it fully working again. The problem I have now is just like old toshiba laptops, the plastic shell is EXTREMELY fragile and seems to be crumbling away. The bottom part of the case has big chunks break off that Ive had to weld/glue back together.

Given there's only about 3 of these things that Im aware of existing in the wild, mine being one of them, I want to preserve this thing. Plus I have enough parts to make a second one, just without the shell/case.

I'm willing to spend a little money, but probably not into the 4 figures, to somehow get the case on this thing reproduced/remade/3d printed/cast/molded. Whatever. I just dont know where to start?

Anyone undertaken a similar a project? I thought about paying a place to 3d scan it and make STL files of the case. But I dont know if that's the best way forward.
