Hi, i am searching for an old DOS game. This game is an indie title, so its not possible to be googled. Its sort of a visual novel, probably from late 90s.

The hero was out in the mountains hiking, got caught by the snowstorm. Desperately trying to escape, as the snow covered everything, he found a mansion, which he escaped into. Girls were living in the mansion, which the hero had to meet one by one.

SPOILER:
as the story progresses, you meeting more and more girls of the mansion, and it turned out everyone, including the hero, is dead. Only one of them were allowed to return to life.
The game is a few mbyte in size, uses simplistic svga graphics.

I guess I remember this game from my youth… Isn’t it Nocturnal Illusion?

Thanks, i think this is the game. I am surprised its on wikipedia, where the say its for Windows 3.1 and PC98. I am pretty sure i was playing on it with DOS (but that could have been a built in emulator).

I remember playing the PC version on Windows. Small enough to download on my 28k internet and light enough to run on my P133…

It seems they did several remakes for it. Those are a CD or multiple CDs in size. I also played with the original few mb version.
