I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of Christmas and what it has become. I hate the way it is shoved down our throats with an intense appeal to consumerism. I do like the time spent with family altogether, but that should be all year, not just Christmas.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays, please drive safe home if you're going to.

Merry Christmas folks!!

Sadly I do not have any photos of X-Mas trees, as our family just by way of circumstance never put one up!! I live alone with my cat, she would (and has) destroy a X-Mas tree. My mum lives by herself in a small house, no room. My sister has two toddlers who, much like my cat, would also destroy a X-Mas tree. We decorated our houses, put up some lights in the front yard, but nothing photo-worthy I'm afraid.

What I did have was a wonderful day of food, laughs, and food-coma-naps with the most important people in my life, and I hope you all had the privilege to engage in the same.

Not sure if the res will be favorable but there's a free mince pie to anyone who can identify the special decoration on my tree.

Nice... My woman says that it is nice and sweet. She loves it.
She thinks that it is cool to see other colors than those we are using in Denmark.

I was too busy to hang a single Christmas light despite threatening my Clark W Griswold-esque neighbor with some serious competition this year. But my little family (2 kids, wife) had a wonderful time all the same. We had lunch at my sister's quite rural property in 33 degree heat + a north wind - when the Firetrucks rumbled past in the late afternoon we knew it was time to go.

This topic has been reopened after being cleaned up by Stiletto.
