Bought a copy of Jane's Combat Simulations: F-15.

Bought a copy of MechAssault for the Original Xbox for $1.

Got a copy of The Depths of Doom Trilogy, now I just need some of the mail order releases.

Just won on ShopGoodwill.. Some awesome Shareware -- Doom + Wolfenstein 3D, and Doom + Rise of the Triad. They appear to be in pretty good condition, with shrinkwrap still on them although it might be open at the bottom with contents missing. It was part of a larger lot, also including SSI Renegade: Battle for Jacob's Star, and Megarace. 😎

Went thrifting today and ran across this. Looks to be a legit copy, but I have never seen a notice explaining the CD labels are opposite of what they should be and "We apologize for any inconvenience."

Found these at the local flea market (didn't buy any). Too bad they are all budget titles or they would've been gone a long time ago.

It ia criminal to not buy them because they are budget releases!

Yeah, I would have grabbed those if the price was right.

bought this rather beat up monkey island collection, I probably still have the original floppies hidden away somewhere, but unfortunately I don't seem to have the boxes anymore 🙁 and I also can't find the original code wheels and this one included both, so... yay

Did these actually slow the pirating in any way? I remember copy shops pricing A4 full color copies at around 20c each.

Black on Red was problematic for uncracked copies at the time. Another game that did this was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, IIRC it had the grail diary painted black over red or something.

🤣, copy-protection for copy-protection. And people say Ubisoft and others are crazy today with its 2-3 layers they have today, Steam+Uplay+Denuvo.

A friend of mine was kind enough to give me these. His company just got a bunch of older games and software so there will be many more.
