Hi!

Did anyone on here use any of the "computer desks" from Agio Designs, that were sold during the 1990's?

I was reading old MacWorld Magazines and a staple advertisement is for the computer desks from Agio. Fell in love directly and would love to have one, but in Europe I have not been able to find one or anyone who remember them. They were manufactured and designed in the US. The particular ads that I uploaded here are from various MacWorld, but they were listed in a lot of other tech magazine during the 90's such as PC World.

I have attatched a few examples. Would love to hear any stories surrounding these, or if someone still uses them! Looks just perfect for retro computer usage in my opinion.

No. Never heard of them. Were they special or something?

I haven't heard of them, either, sorry.

However, I do like this design, too.

Black and wood do match well, I think.
And the design is functional, while not looking too industrial at the same time.

Maybe other Vogons have heard of these.

Edit: Thanks for sharing! :)

I think they kind of capture the "craze" about specialised IT-related furniture that was quite common in the 90's In old IKEA catalogues from late 80's and 90's there are numerous designs attributed to computers but also Commodore 64 and Amiga! Don't see that too often today. 😀
