Got those today. I am close to completing my SSI AD&D series, I have 8 games now. I also got Camelot: Quest for the Grail but that has not come yet.

I'm also on 8 Gold Box - are you also missing Dark Queen of Krynn? 🤣 received Death Knights of Krynn and also Gateway to the Savage Frontier today. Am on to the Silver Box set as well 😉 plus I'm also collecting the KQ series (only 1 to 3 so far), so we have similar tastes 😎

Yes, I am also missing "The Dark Queen of Krynn", it is neither cheap nor easy to find 🙁.

Nice, JK looks crisp. Do you have a Tex Murphy collection?

Man, I would LOVE to get my hands on UW II. I have Ultima Underworld in a nice original box and disks, but I do not have 2. Tends to be pretty pricey on eBay. The game is very fun yes, although could be considered slightly hardcore compared to today's RPGs like recent Elder Scrolls but it is fun nevertheless. It will play ok-ish on a top end 386 but you really need a 486 to be really ok. Have fun and congrats on the find (the box looks certainly very well preserved)!

@JidaiGeki

The little pamphlet inside of your King's Quest VI jewel case is IMPORTANT and it includes the hints necessary to get into the "Isle of the Sacred Mountain". I didn't know this as a kid and nothing in the box told me about it so I never actually got to beat it when I was young. 😒

I figured this out years later by googling around. We didn't have the "internet" back then!

Thanks! Yep it wasn't too cheap, but not as bad as the original. The last copy of UW1 I saw on UK eBay went for £80!

did it also had the bag or runes in it?
I have both UWs (IIRC I have #2 in both 3.5" and 5.25" formats) , both were hard to get complete.
IIRC #1 had a bag of runes , a map and some extra book in it, #2 had a map and Memoirs of Cadbirus or something.

Yep, it did have the runes, maybe that's why it went for so much.
Memoirs of Cadbirus was with UW1 too.
UW2 has "A Safe Passage through Britannia", which is missing from my copy but no biggie as I printed it out from GOG.com.

^ ah yes, correct - now I remember , it's been ages since I took the games out of storage 😁
I remember when looking to get UW2, "A Safe Passage through Britannia" was not always bundled , I believe that they just did not include it after some point
