There's an easy way to figure it out.
Take out the third party and say the sentence.
"Why don't you come with John and me." =>
"Why don't you come with me."
"Why don't you come with John and I." =>
"Why don't you come with I."
I used to correct people in 5th grade that used me/I like that, 😜
