I dread approaching my kvms. I have two belkin kvm cables plugging into one old-fashioned manual switch. So I can physically switch between 2 pairs of pc's, and use scroll-lock+down/up to switch between pc's in the selected pair. Miles of cable spaghetti... I know, it's not good but I've not had issues before 🤣.
[Edit: re-reading this to find the advice on baking cards or not, realised I didn't post the final outcome. The card is now plugged into the monitor directly, drivers have been upgraded and the screen is crisper-looking. Seeing as I since had other problems with the KVMs, I'm concluding they were probably significant contributors to the blurriness problem].
