Oh also, the doom 2 is a windows 95 version, so that's why I said early ms-dos/windows games.

I have absolutely tons of old DOS games backed up on CD's, back in the day we used to swap floppies and CD's with reckless abandon.

I actually have some sierra games that I forgot I had let me dig them out, also Ihave been having the "out of memory" error with bak I try to run it from a boot disk and it still says the same error, I have win98se.
