I'm trying to remember the name of a game I've seen a few years ago - it was somewhat reminiscent of Robinsons Requiem, in that it was quite an open-world, in a futuristic/non-earth setting, you had many different ways of playing the game.

However, it was several years after the original game - as I seem to remember it being in proper 3d.

For the life of me I can't remember what it was called - any ideas?

No, it was later than either RR or Deus - but definitely along the lines of those games, being an open world exploration adventure/sim type game.

I don't think you played a human in the game - I think it was an alien planet.

That came out in 99?

It is impressive for it's day.

The graphics have been updated with a patch for that video. I just used it to show the gameplay and because I couldn't find an unpatched example to use.
