I really, truly want to the enjoy the Ultima games (specifically 4 through 😎, but I just cannot get into them. I'd be all over them if they were to remake them in a modern 3rd person engine similar to what the Dungeon Siege or Diablo games use. I can appreciate the remakes people have done, but I'd gladly drop a big chunk of change for an updated/better story with a better interface... a remake or arrangement of the originals. The music would need to stay the same, for the most part, though. The music and the lore behind Ultima is what makes me interested in them, but I just find the game play very lacking -- which is to be expected due to the age.

How could I forget one of my favorite games ever on the amiga, Pinball Dreams! and Pinball Fantasies too. Would love good remakes of those.

The PC versions are still good. I was playing Pinball Fantasies yesterday under DOSBox. 😎

Elite - Remade with modern graphics and the AI of the Archimedes version. I've looked at the freeward games and they all seem to be lacking one aspect or another.

also of recently i have noticed almost every top down iso metric game ever made in the 90s is being made in to an FPS fallout, xcom and syndicate for example. sometimes it's hard to have faith in humanity.

I'd like to see a REAL remake of Syndicate, not some otherwise-generic Syndicate-themed FPS.

Warcraft I with Warcraft II mouse controls!!!! Thats all I need. Maybe resolution change, like in C&C.

Dune 2 has the same problem, that is fixed in Dune 2000 and Command & Conquer.

I like to play these games with only a mouse, point and click, like modern RTS games.

Magic Carpet with updated graphics

Crusader No Remorse/No Regret with a graphics overhaul and maybe with revamped controls

Bioforge - I liked this one but it had pretty difficult keyboard commands. I would like to see it remade with more modern style controls

Wing Commander/Tie Fighter - basically any new space combat game

Shadowgate/DejaVu - old point and click adventures, but they were 16 bit so they won't play on 64 bit Windows

I'd like a remake of Imperium Galactica the very first one exactly
And if you don't now about - Imperium Galactica II Alliances was perfectly remade on a free basis it now can work on a modern computers, but graphics retained same
