I remember visiting Seoul a few years ago. I spent an evening at a casino and won quite a lot. I ended up with these wierd bank notes (100,000s KRW) that required my signature and ID to pay with elsewhere. I loved visiting KR. Lotte World was fun too: I stayed at the hotel that has the pirate ship inside it. Wonderful people.

Sony rb40 system case.... $450.
Crazy considering that I have 3 of these cases from full vaio rb40 systems I bought for $10, $20, and free.
I get that it is in the box and basically new but mine were all in perfect shape when I bought them.

That description. 🤣

How about some FX 5200s that cost more than they did brand new:

And for the grand prize, ~$700 US for an ancient 3DLabs card:

Adlib Gold 1000:

Only $399.99

Perhaps it's a reasonable asking price, given the rare status of this card.

This card will sell. When Apocalypse 5Ds, Neon 250s and 3D Blaster VLBs sell for this amount I don't see why this won't sell. It is extremely rare and the first time I've ever seen one on Ebay.

🤣 I'm pretty sure that's one of these, and the seller has just fitted it in a case and wired it up to a 23 pin Amiga RGB video connector...

^ yes, it's exactly what it is DK
I am also pretty sure that the seller had several units for sale and he just put a silly price on the last piece until he restocks, thus avoiding any buyer and any extra ebay fees to relist, it's a common practice I've seen elsewhere

Ikr, Ive seen them usually in the 150$ range. But if you look at the screenshot this is from the completed listings and this one is in green that means someone BOUGHT IT.

Well, it does not mean they paid for it though. And the sale date is also april's 1st, so maybe the buyer was trolling :p

OK, I realize boxed V4 4500's aren't widespread these days, particularly the Mac versions, but...

$1,799.99?

Really? I doubt you can get that for a Daytona ES.

Best part is the guy claims he actually paid more for it than he's asking now.

V4's for Macs are practically unheard of and in the box, too. Probably not worth $1800, but still worth quite a lot. I've never even seen a V4 for Mac before this one. The box is probably worth more the card.

Edit: It's been relisted as a pure auction with a reserve and the bidding is up to $260 with reserve not yet met.

Silicon Graphics VCAM board.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-Silicon-Graphics-0 … =p2056016.l4276
It's a bridge board. It's not even a required bridge board. It fits in Onyx and Challenge machines and enables the rarely used VME bus.

Yet he somehow determined it's worth $9200.

Edited: I find it extremely ironic that not five hours after I made this post the VCAM board in my onyx kicked the bucket. 😵

I've seen a local listing of this exact model before. It is indeed a sought-after model for TP collectors, but that price is definitely two digits too many! Most likely it's just a placeholder, so that only a serious collector would actually make an approach.

Looks like they've relisted it yet again, $399 starting bid on a reserve auction - I'm guessing we'll get to see this thing float around on ebay for quite a while... 🤣
