hello there, I recently bought a lot of king of fighter pc games. They are all south korean game (I beleive they never made it in US or europe). One of them, king of fighter '97, was made in 1999 according to the game box. I thought for first it was a game designed for windows 98, but its actually a DOS game. The setup is designed for windows, but not the game itself. Im able to run it perfectly on DOSBOX

Im wondering if semeone know if there is other late commercial DOS game made after 1997? (Im just curious about which game were made)

Redguard is from 1998. The game installer is a Windows program, but the game itself is a DOS program.

Unfortunately, Redguard is not completable with DOSBox. It works fine at first, but it will freeze later at a specific point.

jetfighter fullburn is actually more like an addon to jetfighter III (1997)

BTW it is funny how this screenshot reminds Doom III:

Grand Theft Auto Came out in late '97, Wikipedia says that GTA was published in february '98 in NA.
GTA London 69 AFAIK was still a relying on the same DOS executable, and was published in '99.

there were a bunch of SCI, AGI, and text adventure DOS titles released well into the '00s. Not only was there a 'Fuck Quest' - there was a Fuck Quest SERIES, ffs.

Paku Paku (2011) should also be mentioned here, naturally.

[EDIT: just re-read the OP and noticed the word "commercial"... self-facepalm]
