Hello there people, Ive recently found online semeone that is selling the MK1 & MK2 compilation CD for DOS but he only linclude the Jewel, instruction and the game itself. Ive then tried to search on google about this game to find the big box art and I was not able to find anything, not even Moby Games has a big box screenshot for that.

So the question is: Did the MK1 & MK2 Compilation CD was packaged only as a Jewel Case or it came packaged as a Big Box like the games of its time?

Box art for the Game Boy Version, the DOS version has the same cover art

As this has nothing to do with DOSBox, I am assuming you posted this topic in the wrong forum.

As for the question, are you sure this is a legitimate release and not something thrown together by software pirates?

I thought for sure that it was in the miliway sub-forum. If this thread can be moved there I would appreciate.

I dont know if it is a legitimate or pirated, but I know that the Mortal Kombat 1 in this CD compilation is superior to its floppy counterpart because of arcade perfect music, better graphic, voice , etc.

Mortal Kombat II, however, is apparently the exact same thing as the Standalone CD or Floppy version.

There is youtube video about that CD version of MK1, but I wont show them here because they give you links to undesired place

I checked MKsecrets and mkonline, and they only talk about the Regular DOS version.

Looks like nobody has information about that compilation. If allowed, I can also post the ebay link of the seller who sell it if this can help

Gamecollector: That the box art for the game boy version of the compilation, not the PC DOS one, you can see the Link Cable enabled logo on the upper right of the box

And also, I would be suprised that the ERSB rate those game T when there is blood and fatality on the DOS port (Game boy version were censored)
