I've been watching through Clint's LGR videos again these past few days and just finished watching his review of the DOS version of Dragon's Lair, then started thinking about his recent LGR Plays of Retro City Rampage, started thinking about old NES games with awesome music, then had a random thought about that little tune you would hear at the start of every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode where they show the title of the episode, which was actually just the last few notes of the theme song... but then I suddenly realized that thought wasn't quite so random... :o

I scanned back through the Dragon's Lair review and noticed a spot just a few seconds after this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_d … 73B81434#t=255s

...it's the exact same brief interlude as in TMNT, just in PC Speaker form and at a different pitch and speed! :O

So I guess the big question is: Who copied who or is it just an amazing coincidence? :P

and Star Control had the chorus from Devo's 'Mongoloid' when the Androsynth won a battle (their ship's bridge animation was no coincidence).

Michael Jackson made some of the music for Sonic 3, it was (finally) confirmed in 2009.
