Do devices like the Roland U110 or U220 have any use on a PC?

I ask because I've been seeing a couple of those rolling around on my local craigslist for cheap for a long time--nobody seems to want them. There's also a practically new SC55ST for $50, which has been rolling around for weeks. I'm so tempted to buy one of them, but I don't actually have a retro-rig assembled, despite having lots of parts so I keep putting it off.

I think for two devices regarding the above list, one of the best choices is the following:

1. Roland CM500 because it combines CM32L and CM300
2. Roland MT32 (Old one) because some games sound 100% correctly only with this device

if there wasn't an option for CM500 i would choose the following:

1. Roland CM64
2. Roland Sound Canvas SC55
