Not long ago I started writing for a tech blog/magazine, since I love writing and combined with my fascination of all things hardware, it's proved to be a very rewarding experience.
Since I run a couple of older machines, one with a couple of Voodoo 2's in SLI, it seemed indispensable to write an article about running older games on newer machines, which has in fact turned into a three part (possibly four) article.
I couldn't have written about this subject without including a mention of this hallowed portal of course, not to mention the fine people at DOSBox.
I'm currently writing the third part of the article and hope to finish by the end of the week, but won't post a gratuitous URL here until the mods at this fine place have asked me to.
Many thanks.

Am I reading it right that you want one of the moderaters here on Vogons to ask you to post the link to the article you wrote? 😕

The reason I didn't post a URL is simply out of courtesy.

No issues with me. Go right ahead. Only issues we have are linking to abandonware or other illegal activities.

"Once you’ve downloaded DOSBox, install it to the root of one of your hard drives." Not much need of that unless you are wanting to use relative paths. It is fine to install it in its default, "%ProgramFiles%\DOSBox 0.74". It is the games themselves that you want to avoid installing in a systems folder. DOSBox is well behaved and will write its config file in the user's app data folder.
