Woah, that takes me back. That's Alien Worlds, a particularly weird shareware game I used to play as a kid. Used to scare me a bit actually!

I had no idea it was made in 1989, in which case the backgrounds are actually really impressive!

Back then I only had an 8088 with Hercules and was playing with a friend on his Amstrad CPC 😀 That's an advanced shareware game for its time. I wonder how many owned the hardware to play it and, consequently, bought it.
