IN high school? Pentium IIIs / Celerons. At Vocational school, Athlons (939 if i remember).

Personal rig? 3Ghz Pentium 4 with a 6600GT and then later on an Opteron 144 (on a ULI chipset!) and a mix of 6600GT / X850 .

I was in high school from 01-05. Until 04 it was a k63 500 system I still have untill. My dad got me a few big tote boxes of random parts I ended up with a dual p3 500 system on a supermicro motherboard with a gig of pc 133 ram 6 9 gig 10k scsi drives in raid 5 on the on board ultra 160 controller. Geforce 4 ti 4600, sb live 5.1 24 bit card with live drive, Intel pro 100 nic, ultra xconnect 500 watt modular psu, full size at case full of fans with a windowed side panel. I had 2k pro on it at first then a few months later I added an ata 133 card with a 300 gig hard drive and dual booted xp pro. Still my favorite system and I still have it safely locked away.

I used a Dell Dimension XPS T550 for most of my high school time. I had upgraded it to 1GHz, 512MB RAM, AWE64, NVIDIA Ti4200 and bigger hard drive. It was a sweet rig. Senior year I built a Core 2 Duo E8400 rig
