Hello all, sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong forum; I didn't find an 'Introduce Yourself' type of thread anywhere.

I signed up back in August last year, but I never got a chance to post on the board until now.

I started developing an interest in older PCs, specifically laptops, back in 2013, but I never really dove into the hobby until last year when I bought a Dell Inspiron 2600 from eBay that I shoved Windows 2000 into. I've acquired other old laptops since, but I guess I should save them for a different thread.

Anyways, it's nice to finally post on here. If you guys still use AIM, ICQ or some other instant messaging program in 2015, I'd be glad to add you--I'll be glad to learn about other IM programs that you guys use that I've never heard of. I bet IMing is half of the fun of older computing, eh? 🤣
