Truth be told not sure what i got my hands on. I was going through a lot of 1000 floppy disks i acquired off ebay (i get unwiped disks and archive whatever data is on them for future generations) and found this. All of its PC Software except for this. Its a zip with the 2.1 patch and a zip within called POVAMI that i believe is the base program. At any rate Amiga isnt anything i know how to operate so i figured id let you guys fool around with it. Its shareware which mean i can do... this

Couldnt find the amiga version anywhere, so if anyone will confirm this is indeed amiga ill look for a more stable archive than my own for it to reside on until the end of time.

POV-RAY was originally Amiga program and it was ported to IBM x86 computers. That file is a patch from year 1993 to update Amiga version 2.0 source code to Amiga version 2.1, so it appears it does not contain the whole source code.

That patch file can be found on many web sites, but POV-RAY website has both of these versions archived in source code and executable form for many architectures.

Yep, there's no issue on sharing this file since POV-RAY has always been free software to the best of my knowledge. On the other hand, what Jepael said is right: there's little need for it since POV-RAY does a great job of hosting their own archives.

You can find many files related to POV-RAY 2.1 right here: http://www.povray.org/ftp/pub/povray/Old-Vers … s/Official-2.1/

And since you weren't sure what you had, check out http://www.povray.org
