Do not use Win32diskimager with a USB floppy!
It has a nasty habit of overwriting C instead.
Got caught by this when trying to prep a floppy for an old machine, and blew away my dual boot.
Winimage (shareware) seems to be ok, not sure if others (preferably freeware) can do it...

Aha, had heard of Roadkil's unstoppable copier, but it seems there's quite a catalog

I also tried this once and it wrote over some other random fixed drive (F: in my case). Luckily I had a backup.
However I can only warn about using Win32disimager as it seems to have some serious bug there.

It was actually for a BIOS flash for my "found system".
Finally created the disk, reached over the machine (had its back to me) and pushed the floppy into the slot...
When it fell inside with a clunk
The floppy drive had been removed!
