Ok, lets see.. there are sooo many of these, but gotta try to get something here..
No way I'm gonna get them in any order though..

Dune(gee I love Dune.. and yeah this is the first dune game with adventure and commanding troops.. so awesome still play through this a lot),
street rod(wow the first street rod was so cool),
covert action(absolutely fantastic spy action),
system shock, death rally, flashback,
X-com games, jagged alliance&DG,
transport tycoon, maniac mansion,
zak mckracken, monkey islands,
indiana jones games,
alone in the dark, legend, civilization,
night shift(oh this is great pity I haven't found a working copy),
police quest 1&2(these are so cool), quest for glory 1-4,
Dr. brain games, jones in the fastlane(loads of fun with friends)...
also c&c, doom1&2, rise of the triad and shadow warrior&duke3d(oh the great build engine 😜), but pretty much as multiplayer not too much fun alone..

Yeah I could sit here for hours.. hmmh maybe that's a part of my favorites I could think of now.. mostly adventure and 2 player games anyways.. and lots of varying.. Seems I've been very active gamer during the golden age of dos.. And no matter what game we mostly played with few friends so there's a lot of memories there.. also started playing multiplayer games pretty early..
There are also plenty of C64 and amiga games I played a lot that were for dos too but I never tried them on dos so lets not talk about them here..
I'll surely think of some more I should have put here, but ok ok I'll stop now 😀
