Hi. I am interested in changing the vert- FOV to hor+ FOV in games by means of memory editing or other ways.
The reason I am interested in doing this is because there are many games that do not correctly scale up with widescreen resolutions,
so even if the widescreen works, the top and the bottom part of the screen gets cut off.

Some games use the hor+ scaling which works perfectly with widescreen resolutions but some use the vert- system which results in top and bottom of the screen being cut off.
I have seen memory edits or .dll files that can change the fov and make it appear correct on widescreen resolutions.

If you are interested in doing this, or know how to do it. Please reply here or send a message to my inbox. We can make some fixes for games that don't have these FOV fixes.

See you.

I really have no idea how to do what you're asking. However, have you tried some of those monitors that can be rotated 90 degrees to "portrait view"? Maybe this problem has a more simple solution?

WSGF website does exactly that! It's the best resource for your questions 😀

Another option is to just play in 4:3, that sometimes does the trick.
