That explains the reason why there is no direct way of measuring the temperature of the Voodoo3's GPU "directly".
The reason why I want to get the GPU's temperature directly is, besides just "it's good to know", is that I want to overclock the card.

But you can get a 2 pin Thermal sensor similar to ones that come fan controllers like the below and use that to monitor the temperature.

"One" more question then, chinny22: How would you suggest to attach that "JTPWR" sensor to the heatsink on my Voodoo3? Tape? Thermal tape? Something-with-thermal-in-its-name-that-is-sticky? Or maybe just zip-tie it somehow to the heatsink? I mean, the sensor should be in physical contact with the thing it's sensing the temperature of, right? Thanks in advance!
