Learned about this thing through some youtube video yesterday. Curious if it really indexing the internets or just a catalog of links.

Feels like it's looking for sites that use older technologies. I can't imagine emacswiki.org or vogonsdrivers.com to fit author's definition of "classic web", so they've been probably indexed somehow.

Seems like a useful tool. One thing I don't think it is doing is crawling FTP sites for filenames, but I think there are separate FTP searchers that work for that.
